The hourglass shape & how magician Zac Posen turns it into reality

I had this thought the other day about how much inner balance and fashion can be enough for achieving exquisite outer beauty. Yes. Peace and happiness shine from the eyes, smile and attitude of any woman. And the odd non-ideal measurements she might have to deal with are altogether approachable through wardrobe choices both wise and spectacular.

For the first part of the theory, let’s just think about how much of the aura of hourglass shaped goddesses Ava Gardner, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Brigitte Bardot or Sophia Loren is, in fact, thanks to their spirit. And for the second, behold the excellent mathematics of the demonstrations Zac Posen offers season after season.

So let’s see things in their due light and long for nothing. As even the scientists say it, loud and clear: The best female figure is not that of an hourglass!

Yes, a waist-to-hip ratio of 0.7 or less (the medical definition of the hourglass type) is linked to increased fertility and a lower incidence for chronic disease.

In today’s society and facing the reality of women’s emancipation, modernisation and of the roles they choose for themselves, a silhouette that is slightly fuller around the waist is preferable. Why? Because this feature is correlated with a greater level of androgen hormones such as Cortisol, that also induce increased strength, stamina and competitiveness!

So, what’s missing for truly having the best of both worlds? I’ve said it and I’m saying it again. Just some Zac Posen. Here it is!
