Vogue UK Celebrates Olympic Games With Glamorous Photo Shoot

To celebrate the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games, Vogue UK’s September issue includes an ultra-glamorous photo shoot, featuring some of the most successful British supermodels, shot by visionary photographer Nick Knight, in unique creations by some of the most sought-after English designers of the moment.

Thus, the winning athletes of the Olympic Games are not the only ones wearing gold. Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell in Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, Stella Tennant in Cristopher Kane, Lily Cole in Erdem, Lily Donaldson in Vivienne Westwood, Jourdan Dunn in Jonathan Saunders, Georgia May Jagger in Victoria Beckham, Karen Elson in Burberry and David Gandy in Paul Smith were photographed for the magazine in glamorous, gold-dipped outfits.

The fashion world’s association with the Olympic Games is not limited this photo shoot, however, given that Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio will participate on August 12th, in the handover of the Olympic flag to Brazil, the next country to host the Olympic Games in 2016.
