Video: Miu Miu To Unveil Short Film At Venice Film Festival

Just like every self-respecting fashion house, Italian label Miu Miu isn’t concentrating all its effort on making clothes, being a big supporter of the arts as well.

During the annual Venice Film Festival, the fashion house will be unveiling the premiere of the fourth installment in a series of short films, entitled “Women’s Tales”. The short film, which goes by the title “It’s getting Late” will be presented to the audience on August 30th, during the festival’s opening night., along with the other previous three films: “The Powder Room”, “The Woman Dress” and “Muta”.

The short film follows the story of three women preparing for a night out in Hollywood, and features the talents of actresses Gemma Arterton, Aubrey Plaza, Patricia Clarkson and Rinko Kikuchi. All four films have been directed by women and their shooting was possible with the help of Venice Days, an organisation which focuses on giving voice to and promoting female talents in the world of filmmaking.
