Urban Revolution In Michael Kors’ Fall/Winter 2013 Show

For his Fall/Winter 2013 collection, Michael Kors chose to portray a sporty air.

Even the classic silhouettes were given an athletic allure – numerous jackets and even a chic peplum dress were refreshed with luscious black leather trimmings, while a couple of flowing A-line skirts were fashioned out of perforated felt, reminiscent of the technical fabric used to create race drivers’ gear.

The collection’s sporty vibe was occasionally broken by outfits with a powerful dose of luxury and femininity, such as the mink coats that Kors embellished with a camouflage motif, in tone with the collection’s urban spirit.

For nighttime, the designer proposed a series of provocative looks, such as peplum-waisted dresses with sexy cutouts and black leather accents, or dresses short in the front and long in the back, in electric shades of orange or cobalt blue.
