Tough Girl Chic – The 3.1 Philip Lim F/W 2013 Show

Tough girl chic – This season’s 3.1 Philip Lim collection was fixed on the idea of the on-the-go type of woman, who adores to explore, be it an urban setting, in racerback dresses and cozy coats fashioned out of fur patchwork, or an open-space décor, in biker jackets and leather vests, neoprene jackets, jeans with fabric appliqués and cargo pants.

The colour-blocking theme and the layering of textures (which included detachable pieces of fabric worn under jackets, for a faux-layering effect), were among the show’s highlights. The accessories – knee-high leather boots with cutouts, cross-body bags and chandelier earrings created by Alexis Bittar especially for the collection, completed the looks.
