Tightlining – The Miracle Technique For Fuller Lashes

What if I told you that there was a way for you to create the illusion of fuller eyelashes without wearing a ton of mascara or struggling to put on fake lashes?

You’ve probably heard repeatedly that lining the base of your upper eyelids with eyeliner creates volume, but are you familiar with a technique called thightlining?

Tightlining implies applying eyeliner in between your lashes as well as immediately under them, instead of the base of your eyelids. The effect is much more subtle than a classic cat eye look, but it creates the illusion of extremely full lashes.

Makeup artists advise that when you use this technique, you forgo the usual liquid eyeliner in favour of a solid one and a brush. This way, you can avoid various eye infections. Using a clean brush each time, scoop the amount of eyeliner needed onto the back of your hand and then help yourself from there, without double-dipping and contaminating the entire makeup container.
