The Viktor & Rolf F/W 2013 Show At PFW: Luxury With A Hint Of Rebelliousness

Featuring architectural volumes, calculated pleats, trompe l’œil embroidery mimicking a tearing effect, romantic accents in the form of oversize bows and patchwork effects mixing together fabrics such as lace and mousseline or leather and fur, all in a chromatic palette dominated by a black-white contrast, the Viktor & Rolf Fall/Winter 2013 collection, showcased during Paris Fashion Week, translated into luxury with hints of rebelliousness.

The white shirt, the label’s emblematic piece and a recurring element of the designer duo’s collections, was reinvented, this time around featuring inserts of lace and asymmetrical frills, and was either worn as is or as stylish dresses.
