The Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2013 Collection, Modeled By A Chic Hologram

Featuring the famous Damier print, a brand signature, in a myriad versions, one more modern and fresh than the other, from tiny pixel-like squares to giant chess-inspired checks, the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2013 collection took everyone’s breath away starting last October, when it was showcased during Paris Fashion Week.

The collection was such a hit that real-life fashionistas aren’t the only ones flaunting it…they’re joined by virtual ones as well.

As part of an exciting collaboration between Louis Vuitton and the Tokyo Opera, Marc Jacobs has designed a set of outfits inspired by the current LV collection, for a special someone – Hatsune Miku, a Japanese pop idol, consisting of a 3D projection and a computer generation voice, as part of the ”Vocaloid” software. And since Hatsune is a new-wave icon of the young Japanese generation, her wardrobe for her show at the Tokyo Opera had to be equally fabulous.

The hologram will appear on the Opera stage wearing four different outfits imitating real looks for the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2013 collection, paired with a custom version of the iconic Speedy bag. Très chic!
