The Echo Of The Eighties In The Iceberg F/W2013 Show At Milan Fashion Week

For the Iceberg Fall/Winter 2013 collection, Paolo Gerani took a shot at the brand’s signature element – knitwear, the show including even a replica of a sweater designed by Jean Charles de Castelbajac for a 1983 advertising campaign that put the Italian label on the fashion world’s radar.

The Eighties echo also made its way into the rest of the collection, from oversize rounded shoulders to batwing sleeves, from asymmetric collars to acid colours and from sweater dresses to colour blocked patterns.

The leather-adorned trimmings and patchwork looks fashioned out of fur, leather and sequins provided the line-up with a fresh and modern vibe.
