I know, my Milan Fashion Week memories are far too magnetic to set aside until I’ve remembered every day, every show and every look. So thank God my make up was invariably Dior (therefore invariably impeccable), otherwise the mirrors are not too friendly with me.
Yes, I am not skillful enough to apply any makeup product, reason for which I decided to follow Yadim’s artful tricks & tips from his Dior video series and create a new exciting look every day, every show.
And I couldn’t have a better advisor, as Yadim is the reputed Dior International Makeup Artist.
My make up spectaculaire was a reinterpretation of this pop eye look, with bold strokes of vibrant colors. However, in comparison with the models’ makeup presented on the Dior catwalk, I decided to change the balance by highlighting the lips in deep red, while keeping the eyes in a minimal (but strong) blue touch.
The result convinced me that having the right products doubled by the right advice and knowledge, anyone can master a catwalk look, exactly like the gorgeous statuesque models.
So yes, I did managed to create a “New Look” for myself and I did felt beautiful wearing my Dior make up. It surely was positively edgy electric, brimming with freshness and intensity, a perfect graphic representation of a fashion forward fashion week!
Just take a look at the video and learn to transform yourself into a beauty queen. I only managed what you can already see in the photos, but I know you will do much better!
And here are my Dior beautifying secrets: the house’s best make up basics brought to pop art life by an electric blue pencil and the mythical Dior Rouge 999.
