For the Armani Privé Fall 2013 show, Giorgio Armani brought the Thirties, one of the most refined decade of the last century, on a contemporary stage.
Signore Armani created a hauntingly beautiful mise-en-scène, in suave shades of beige, nude and peach, punctuated by precious metallic shimmers.
An air of Old Hollywood glamour flooded the room when the runway started filling up with models enveloped in romantic cascades of silk, satin and lace. Jackets with elongated silhouettes and short flirty lace dresses accompanied loose-cut trousers, while sparkling embroidery, rich beading, cascades of pearls and soft plumage accented diaphanous dresses. A romantic reverie, highlighting the idea of absolute femininity.
