Shimmery Glamour In Elie Saab’s Couture Collection

The go-to designer for glamorous red carpet-worthy evening gowns, Elie Saab, presented his Fall/Winter 2012 Couture collection yesterday, during Paris Couture Fashion Week.

The show opened with a floor-length black beaded gown, a look perfectly describing the term “demure elegance”, which set the tone for the rest of the collection.

The suite of elegant black lace dresses was followed by an array of nude gowns, followed by a series of gorgeous gold-dipped ones.

Thigh-high slits and plunging necklines alternated with more demure looks in the form of knee-length dresses with 3/4 sleeves. The splaying skirts and cinched-in waists accentuated the feminine shape of the body, while the bejeweled bodices and transparent panels provided a look of glamorous sensuality.

A collection of fabulous, red carpet-worthy gowns, with plenty of shimmer and shine, just as one would expect from Elie Saab.
