Sharp Lines And Architectural Silhouettes In The Gianfranco Ferré Show At MFW

Federico Piaggi and Stefano Citron used rigurosity and preciseness to construct the line-up of architectural looks featured in the Gianfranco Ferré Fall/Winter 2013 collection.

Sharp silhouettes – elongated smoking jackets with draped lapels fashioned out of luscious satin, tops featuring batwing sleeves, carefully sculpted dresses with waistlines accentuated via Obi style belts, ample collars on jackets, high necklines on dresses, fur coats and leather trenches, were all joined on the runway by a series of softer looks, in the form of dresses and jumpsuits fashioned out of fluid silk, with seductive cutouts and provocative plunging necklines.
