Sexy Metallics In The Paco Rabanne S/S 2013 Show

For her first collection as creative director of the brand, Lydia Maurer imagined for Paco Rabanne Spring/Summer 2013 a series of looks inspired by the 60s’ sexual revolution.

Provocative silhouettes with skin peeking through, thanks to the designer’s use of the iconic “69 disc” technique, a trademark of Paco Rabanne, invaded the runway, transforming it into an expression of sex-appeal.

The metallic dresses were paired with metallic footwear, as a reference to the series of portraits made years ago by Jean Clemmer, in which nude models posed wearing just a series of armour-like Paco Rabanne jewelry pieces.

A provocative collection, with a serious dose of eroticism, for the daring woman.
