Sex-appeal And Architectural Silhouettes In The Atelier Versace Spring 2013 Show

atelier-versace19

The first part of the Atelier Versace Spring 2013 show, which for the last few seasons focused on red carpet outfits that stars love to parade to the most prestigious events, briefly stepped away from that concept, focusing instead on daywear, to which Donatella infused a powerful dose of glamour and sex-appeal, a signature look of the house.

Blazers, skirts and pants were embellished with 24 karat gold inserts in the form of fine stripes, while jackets were made out of alternating strips of mink fur and chainmail, before the show migrated onto more sexy silhouettes, such as dresses that were short in the front and long at the back, embellished with minute embroidery and beading, and then, onto a set of column dresses with architectural silhouettes, of a particularly refined nature.
