Rochas Fall/Winter 2013: Classic Silhouettes With A Dose Of Eccentricity

For the Rochas Fall/Winter 2013 show, Marco Zanini sent out onto the runway a set of classic silhouettes doubled by a dose of eccentricity.

A-line skirts with accentuated waists, reminiscent of Christian Dior’s New Look, trapeze coats with exaggerated proportions, inspired by classic couture silhouettes, statement dresses with cocoon silhouettes and somptuous fabrics – bouclé, knits needle-punched with silk thread, or double duchesse, made for a grandiose line-up.

To balance out the image of the voluminous silhouettes, Zanini alternated the couture-inspired looks with simple, clean-cut outfits – skinny trousers, pencil skirts, masculine coats and bomber jackets.
