Red brings good luck in losing weight

You want to lose weight easier, faster? Change your dishes in the kitchen with red ones. A survey conducted by a team of researchers from Germany and Switzerland, published in the Appetite magazine, revealed that people who eat and drink from red vessels have a smaller appetite.

The study involved 109 persons, who were served with crackers arranged in plates of different colors. Researchers noticed that people who had red plates ate the least, and the ones who drank from red teacups consumed 44% less liquid.

They explained this with the fact that red is a color associated with danger, interdiction, and blocks the appetite. The results are even more interesting as they could be used to fight obesity and excessive alcohol consumption.
