Tod’s fall-winter 2014/2015, a joy for the audience and a joy for the women who will get to wear its refined pieces, the ones for whom they were originally created by applauded Alessandra Facchinetti, at her just second season for the Italian brand!
So, joy and a runway of modern models epitomising the perfect balance between high fashion and superb clothing for the contemporary woman. The silks and leathers took simple, sculptural shapes, with beauty in the most artistic sense of the word. While its colours, prints and key feminine elements scattered throughout – a slim belt, a ruffled ending to a pair of trousers and the wonderful wide rounded rim hats – have brought in a welcome dash of warmth and delicacy. A collection essentially Tod’s, starting with the shoes up to the bags and, then, to the confirmation provided by Alessandra Facchinetti on why RTW is undisputedly Italian.
