Porcelain baby!

I don’t know if you’ve noticed – L’Officiel, Elle, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, Wall Street Journal, China, Spain, Japan, the UK, Australia, France – but this summer there’s a make up trend that circles the magazine covers and continents.

And there really is no wonder about it. As it’s the porcelain look of a complexion having being treated to a maximum of care and minimum of makeup. The cleaning, treating and moisturising are those typically necessary during summer, with a plus of credit being given to products lending a matte yet radiant finish. While the makeup colours are crisp, natural and chosen especially for getting as close as possible to the innate luminosity and colouring of every skin.

Burberry, for instance, are top promoters of this type of almost nude makeup, and words such as fresh, glow, sheer, peony and English rose abound in the names of their face, makeup and even perfume collections.

I say that this is not even a trend here to stay. But more of a permanent beauty option for every one of us!
