Parisian Chic In The Guy Laroche S/S 2013 Collection

In the backstage of the Spring/Summer 2013 Guy Laroche show, presented during day two of Paris Fashion Week, the fashion house’s creative director, Marcel Marongiu stated that he was sick and tired of all the jeans and sweater looks that prevent women from reaching their full aesthetic potential.

Thus, Marongiu created a chic collection, punctuated by occasional touches of sportiness and various cuts for sexy skin sneak peeks.

Laser-cut coats in woven crepe, with visible coloured lining, high-waist pants, bustier-tops and fluid silk skirts were some of the show’s most powerful looks. The abstract prints, present on a series of outfits, were also featured on accessories – bags and shoes with geometric stacked heels – for a complete and balanced collection.
