Nina Ricci Fall/Winter 2013: A Collection Dripping With Grace And Delicateness

Drawing his inspiration from the grace and elegance of ballerinas, Peter Copping, the creative director of the Nina Ricci label, imagined for the brand’s Fall/Winter 2013 show, a collection dripping with femininity and delicateness.

For daytime, Copping proposes silhouettes with a glam factor, toned down by elements with a distinctly urban edge: pencil skirts with suave drapings, or in short, pleated versions with ample silhouettes, cigarette trousers, cropped jackets, deux-pièces, coats with fur-embellished trims on hoods and parkas with shearling panels. For nighttime, on the other hand, the pleats, drapings, volatile plumage appliqués and gracious frills, stole the focus, in a romantic fantasy of ethereal silhouettes.
