Pure Elegance In Alberta Ferretti’s F/W 2013 Show At Milan Fashion Week

Keeping her designs in the familiar tone of her eponymous label, translated into romanticism and femininity, Alberta Ferretti created for the Fall/Winter 2013 season, a collection celebrating elegance in its pure, natural form.

Floor-length column dresses were alternated on the runway with short cocktail versions, boasting an equally elegant allure, fashioned out of somptuous velvet in jewel tones, suave lace in angelic white versions or in black, dripping with refinement, as well as silk veil, embroided with sparkling beads, for a most sensual effect.

The suite of dresses was accompanied on the runway by a series of looks made up of sculpted blazers with peplum waists and a set of luxurious coats, either covered in plumage or discreetly embroided along the hemlines.

A charming collection full of sensitivity and romanticism, for the woman who wants to showcase her fragile feminine side, transforming it into a weapon of seduction.
