Nars will release a Andy Warhol inspired make-up collection

This fall, the beauty brand Nars is going to change from its matte black packaging into a colored, full of life packaging, for the first time in their history. This is going to happen due to a collection inspired by the life and work of Andy Warhol. The line will feature packaging and imprints of his work, taken from the archive.

The new make-up line is inspired by Edie Sedgwick, Debbie Harry, and Candy Darling, three of Andy’s muses, and is going to have 2 editions. The first one is The Pop Art Line, and will be available at Sephora starting in October. The second one, The Factory, will be revealed in November, at the exclusive department stores.

The Pop Art line will have make-up in bright, vibrant colors, while The Factory aims to capture the glamour and sophistication of Warhol’s Factory. Any way, both collections are expected to be outstanding, so this is a good reason to wait for the fall to come.
