Moschino Fall/Winter 2013 – A Collection With A Scottish Feel

A Scottish feel dominated Rosella Jardini’s Fall/Winter collection for Moschino this season, with tartan tuxedos, mini kilts and jackets featuring leather buckles, accessorised with glengarry bonnets. The label’s signature elements hid in the details, such as elegant embroideries forming the letter M, which decorated blazers, caps and shoes, the heart motif, adorning pullovers, skirts or trench coats, and the chandelier earrings, which accompanied each look onto the runway.

Along with the homage paid to Scottish heritage, Jardini also let herself be inspired by the image of Anna Bonfoey Taylor, socialite and style icon of the 20th century, whose passion for winter sports and riding horses translated into equestrian jackets paired with slim pants with built-in peplums and ski sweaters worn with fringed trousers.

The final looks – suits and dresses in floral 3D jacquard in a fiery red tone, provided the collection with an extra dose of refinement.
