Miuccia Prada designs fashion for people, not women vs men!

Indeed, even if she admits to having it easier to channel ideas and express her boldness in feminine collections, Miuccia Prada is bringing her egalitarian and always revolutionary principles on fashion into the sexes debate as well. And by saying that, at least from some points of view, they are irrelevant!

The Italian designer, one of the most influent women in the industry and, more widely speaking, in the world, believes that separate runways for men and women are quite simply out of touch with the world we live in. ’’I think the combination is more real. It is more today. Otherwise it looks like we are in classes, in the time of my grandfather, women divided from men. The shows divided are so unreal and I think that it is when you put them together you get a sense of what is meaningful and real.’’ she has been quoted saying.

Truly authentic and truly essential. Another visionary idea from Miuccia Prada. Breaking the chains of loneliness and dissociations and promoting the complex unity of people and things meant to be together. Like in the House’s fall-winter 2014/2015 campaign. And like in the Rossetto collages germinating with ideas that the Prada think-a-likes are being encouraged to conceptualise!
