To feel at an auto presentation almost the same way as you do at a fashion show is no small feat. To have a heavy industry producer that could be easily nominated as one of the world’s most sophisticated designers is downright unheard-of. This without even mentioning the ‘’catwalk models’’ – the new feline Mercedes-Benz SUVs…
It’s been a great honour being a part of the new Mercedes-Benz models launch!
Additionally, it’s been a real pleasure finding myself in the midst of these cars, as cars actually play a very important role in my life. If I take a step back and look at all of my activities throughout the year, I realize that, being a fashion journalist, I have a very dynamic lifestyle. Thanks to www.FashionAvecPassion.com, I do a lot of traveling when attending international fashion events.
Over this entire time, Mercedes-Benz has been there for me, seeing me arrive at various runway shows, interviews, photo sessions, many of them abroad. And there also were multiple occasions when, traveling internationally, I came to choose the comfort and elegance of a Mercedes-Benz before the option of airway travel.
And even if I know much more about bags than airbags, I do know for a fact that Mercedes-Benz is car that’s fashionable, in the literal sense of the word!
The most well-known German brand is patron of the most important fashion event: the Fashion Weeks. Paying tribute to MB, New York’s fashion week is, suggestively, called Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. So is also the case of MB Australia Fashion Week, MB Miami FW, as well as the Berlin, Zurich, Istanbul, Beijing and Tokyo Fashion Weeks – they all bear the Mercedes-Benz extension!
More, Mercedes-Benz is, indubitably, the greatest supporter and partner of the fashion industry worldwide elite.
All of the editors of Vogue’s international editions, starting with Anna Wintour, are being brought to the catwalk shows in their elegant Mercedes-Benz limousines.
Karl Lagerfeld, Creative Director for Chanel, dubbed the King of Fashion, holds fast to his favourite Mercedes-Benz. It’s quite obvious that (His) Excellency demands excellence!
Even more, no one other than Giorgio Armani has conceived the design of a Mercedes-Benz! Fact that makes it all the clearer that fashion comes from Italy, while cars come from Germany!
As far as I’m concerned, I can tell that my relationship with Mercedes-Benz is altogether special. My first car has been a Mercedes-Benz! An elegant, dynamic look car…
And, yes, I do admit that before getting my driver’s license I used to think that a car’s three mirrors have carefully designed purposes: the two laterals for rear-viewing and the top one for applying makeup. After all, this might actually be the reason we women have trouble with reverse parking – we keep feeling that the rear-view mirror is meant for touching up our makeup.
Still, from this to arguing that women are lesser drivers there’s a very long way!
I just want to see a man able to drive in 12 cm heels and we can then talk about which one of the sexes is best at driving.
Shifting gears, despite the fact that we live in an era where there are ever fewer things that can surprise us, I need to say that each and every one of the shown models has left a strong impression on me.
It could be so because the goal of Mercedes-Benz has always been that of making ‘’the best cars money can buy’’.
The new GLC is an extension of this same mindset. The Mercedes-Benz specialists have pushed the limits of technology and design to re-configure the GLC model into a bold car, one displaying a visionary, even opulent interior design and a sophisticated exterior drawn in exquisite classical lines. A carefully calibrated mix providing what many seek and only a few come to find: style!
The classics don’t just perpetually keep on being fashionable, but they also make for the only visual means of expression that has the ability to say who you are, without needing you to utter a single word.
The new Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV holds its own – it has a design that speaks for itself! It is, genuinely, a car that has heads turning – and it’s ideal to be so! They say that if you don’t look back at your car, after parking it, it means that you don’t have the car of your dreams.
So, I invite you to explore the fascinating world of Mercedes-Benz and choose the car for you! Because life is just too short to be driving dull cars!
