’’Cool woman’’ is an unexpected, bold couple of words. And to design a collection to illustrate it, all the mode difficult. But for Ennio Capasa, an expert of precise ideas and cuts even more exact than that, just another successful Costume National set!
Inspiration provided by Frank Gehry’s architecture or Anish Kapoor’s sculptures doubled by his bias for the masculine aesthetic seen as an energy transferable onto feminine pieces, gave Milan’s podium a collection ready to leave the catwalk and head right into the stores. The felted wool jogging trousers, platform Oxford shoes and variety of formal looking or sporty jackets will be warmly welcomed into wardrobes. While his ingeniously tailored dresses, starting from a tux’s lapels and matched with constructed pairs of pants give, just the couture topping to Costume National’s indispensable slim styling.
