Madonna’s Truth or Dare shoe line

Madonna’s passion for shoes is not a secret for anybody. Throughout her career, she came into public attention wearing the most eccentric designs shoes. One of the most shocking appearances was when she wore the pistol-shaped heels Chanel, at the Filth and Wisdom movie premiere.

Having already experience in the business clothing line, Madonna decided to put her signature on a shoe collection. This fall she will launch a shoe line inspired by various styles of dance, called Truth or Dare. The shoes will be produced by the Canadian Aldo Group and will come in more than 60 models, including platforms, heels and boots. Dance influences come in the form of studs and cap-toe details. Ariane Phillips, the creative consultant, said Madonna has had a key input on the line: “Her fingers are really on this brand. The first thing I did was remind her of all the shoes she wore over the years, and we took the styles that we can’t live without. You can always depend on her to bring her style and provocateur quality, but she also has a very feminine perspective.

The new line of shoes will be available in stores such as Nordstrom and Macy’s, The Bay (Canada), Selfridges (United Kingdom), and online, on Truth or Dare is expected to hit the Europe only in 2013. Price will set from $89 to $349.

Madonna inspired the designer Kobi Levi, who created a pair of shoes called The Blonde Ambition. The design is really special, comes in a gold pump with a blond ponytail, microphone and coned toes reminiscent of Madonna’s famous Jean Paul Gaultier  designed bustier she wore in the 1990’s for her Blonde Ambition Tour.
