Louis Vuitton is the cherry on top

Louis Vuitton is the most valuable luxury brand in the world for the seventh consecutive year. This is the result of the study conducted by the global research brand Millward Brown Optimor.

The results were analyzed based upon the interviews with consumers, and the analysis of company performance. The French fashion house whose bags have become synonymous with luxury was valued $25.9 billion.

On the next top ten positions are the fashion house Hermes ($19.1 billion), Rolex ($7.17 billion), Chanel ($6.68 billion), Gucci ($6.42 billion), Prada ($5.7 billion), Cartier ($4.8 billion), and Burberry ($4.09 billion).

Nick Cooper, the managing director of Millward Brown Optimor, said that luxury should be regarded as an investment, and the attributes that make the differences between brands are quality craftsmanship, heritage and history.
