Just Cavalli Fall/Winter 2013: A Whirlwind Of Colour And Contagious Optimism

Inspired by Roberto and Eva Cavalli’s visit to Bhutan, the Oriental-feel eclectic prints competed this season with the signature animal print, an omnipresent element in the brand’s collections.

On a classic Just Cavalli note, the Fall/Winter 2013 collection abounded in silhouettes with a fresh and youthful allure. The eccentricity of the Oriental motifs dripping with colour and animation didn’t stop the designer duo from pairing them with details just as extravagant, such as animal prints, fur accents or rich metallic embroidery. Short flirty dresses, leggings, bomber jackets, slouchy pants and boxy blazers, mixed and layered to create playful silhouettes, stole the audience’s hearts, along with their breaths, in a whirlwind of colour and contagious optimism, in true Cavalli spirit.
