Seductive Felines In Jean Paul Gaultier’s Couture Show

Love it or not (although, how on Earth could you not adore it?!?), animal print is one of the most powerful weapons of seduction in fashion. Jean Paul Gaultier has used this ultra-feminine detail in his signature Couture collection for the Fall 2013 season, imagining a set of sensual felines, which took the stage by storm, flooding it with sex-appeal.

Eighties silhouettes, which included jackets featuring exaggerated shoulders and seductive pencil skirts, coats with oversize lapels and accented waists, jackets with fur cuffs and various outfits featuring gigantic pockets framing the silhouette, were all sprinkled with a serious dose of sensuality, in the form of a plethora of animal prints. Trompe l’œil embroidery, fur accents and painted ostrich feathers, borrowed the look of leopards, lionesses, cougars and tigresses, creating a line-up of looks so stunning, that had the audience purring with excitement.
