Janina Nectara, happy for the Pinko Bags for Ethiopia launch

It is at Milan Fashion Week that the fashion world has reconnected with the styles and craftsmanship of Africa, thanks to Pinko and the Fashion for Development (F4D) initiative, through the Pinko Bags for Ethiopia collection.

The Italian brand has always been proud, throughout its successful path, of its distinctive eye for the new and heart for the trends and issues of today. For Pinko Bags for Ethiopia, it has brought together and enabled share their vision and goals designer Marina Spadafora and a group of women in Addis Ababa sustainably manufacturing beautiful things out of locally grown cotton.

The bags line and the cause behind them – the aesthetic and the ethic – have been celebrated at Milan’s Galeria Giangaleazzo Visconti, Janina Nectara having had the great joy of taking part to the event.
