Marie Claire Supports Our Fight For The Empowerment Of Women All Around The World

Countless women all around the world have to face alarming issues on a day-to-day basis, reason for which I invite you to join a noble cause.

Supported by the Romanian edition of Marie Claire magazine we are pleading for women’s fundamental rights to education, health and justice.

Thank you Marie Claire Romania for chiming with us for a better CHANCE IN THE WORLD!

As Kid President mentions in his video series with Beyoncé on the World Humanitarian Day, the world needs “lots of things for lots of people”.
We can start like him, with a metaphorical hug and continue with#Humanity http://worldhumanitarianday.org/

Having as founders Frida Giannini, Beyoncé and Salma Hayek, Gucci has initiated a huge humanitarian project which spans on a global level. Janina Nectara supports the campaign through her blog, Fashion Avec Passion.

The Chime For Change initiative has been thought out as a global platform, aimed towards spreading awareness about the problems that millions of women have to confront, as well as promoting the simplest solutions towards solving them. On an international level, the campaign is supported by Frida Giannini, creative director for Gucci, pop artist Beyoncé and actress Salma Hayek. Names such as Julia Roberts, Kylie Minogue, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jada Pinkett Smith and Cameron Diaz support Chime For Change as well, inviting their fans to do the same.

The Romanian ambassador of Chime For Change is Janina Nectara, the founder of the FashionAvecPassion.com blog, nominated by Forbes Magazine among its 30 Under 30 Young Innovators and Entrepreneurs. Fashion Avec Passion has received the title of Harrods Blog Of The Week, awarded by Harrods London (one of the largest fashion businesses in the world). Janina Nectara in honured by the invitation launched by the house of Gucci, to join the online revolution for supporting women. The concept is called crowdfunding and involves collecting small amounts of money from as many people as possible.

The channels used by chimeforchange.org to promote its cause – Facebook, Twitter, YouTube – are gaining dazzling amounts of fans on a daily basis. The Sound Of Change Live concert has generated a cascade of enthusiastic clips posted online, which carry Chime For Change and its message further on. The extraordinary concert took place on June 1st in London, and Beyoncé, Jay Z, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Laura Pausini, Timbaland, Rita Ora, Florence + the Machine, Mary J Blige and Madonna were among other artists that took the stage. ”60% of the world’s children that don’t attend school are female!” says Madonna. ”Two thirds of the people that are illiterate on a global level, are women! I cannot accept this. We need to change this situation, and we will!”. Among the supporters of the campaign are Prince Harry and the UNICEF organisation.

All women must become aware of the great problems that an immense number of young girls and women face on a daily basis and donate even the smallest of amounts to create a truly global impact. Learn how by accessing Facebook/ChimeforChange.
