Ivanka Trump Debuts In Fashion

Seated front row in between her father, Donald, and her husband, Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump admired her debut collection, presented Wednesday on the fifth floor of Lord & Taylor Department Store in New York City.

Inspired by her mother, Ivana, who has also toyed with the idea of fashion design in the past, Donald Trump’s daughter imagined a Prêt-à-porter collection aimed towards career-oriented women.
The outfits, which according to Ivanka, are meant to put together “glamorous, elegant and polished looks”, include feminine silhouettes made up of flowing dresses, trenchcoats with accented waistlines, print blouses tucked into pencil skirts, creating business looks, tight trousers and even a maxi dress with exotic paisley print.
And since the entreprenorial spirit runs in the family, even if the majority of the clothes have price tags below $225, Ivanka estimates an income of $230 million for her collection, not including the profit generated by her jewelry line.

The fact that the garments were already available in stores at the moment of the runway show was a little confusing, but, to be honest, how many times have we wished to not be forced to wait more than 6 months in order to be able to buy the clothes and accessories that we fell in love with when we saw them on the runway?!
