‘’Fade to grey’’, shades of light and shadow dissipating into an infinite grey. This is the message Giorgio Armani reveals in his Milan Fashion Week collection using his habitually modern fashion language.
Armani’s style, as defined by the very Italian House, promotes a continuous exploration of an unusual sense of proportion. And its catwalk pieces re-demonstrate it, as we’ve always known it to be, a styling of subtle variations, of unlimitedly diverse looks within a carefully drawn universe of shapes and colours. Rounded cuts coats, trousers with volume and flow, some of the most feminine interpretations of the Armani jacket and a few playful lime pythons, they all seem to construct a whole and, at the same time, reinvent it with every new entry on the runway. The encyclopaedia of Armani’s style has just gained new chapters, with fall-winter 2014/2015, a crisp breeze of elegance.
