How to pick and apply eye creams

We all know eye cream is important, but do you apply it correctly? Here are a few steps that will help you make the best out of this great product:

1. Picking the right eye cream is the most important thing  you can do. First determine what is your issue. If you have problems with puffiness, and you wake up with your eyes tired, choose a gel with a cooling roller ball, or creams with caffeine, green tea or cucumber. Try a cream with anti-oxidants or retinol, for wrinkle prevention, or an illuminating eye cream for the daytime, if you want to hide the fine lines.

2. Make a habit out of applying the eye cream every morning and night, only being constant you’ll get to see the results.

3. The eye area is one of the most sensitive, so apply the cream very gentle, using your ring finger and moving in circular moves, around the eye.

4. Apply the cream all over the eye, at the outer corners, underneath the brows and under the eye, to the cheekbone.

5. Don’t avoid applying eye cream on the lids. It will help the makeup adhere better, and will keep the area hydrated.
