Join the race for health! Join Happy Run!

The fight for life needs all the help it can get.

Every two minutes, a woman dies because of cervical cancer!

Prevention, early detection and timely treatment when referring to breast cancer or cervical cancer (just to give an example) need all the enthusiasm (both emotional and financial) they can get!

That is why, Sunday, June the 7th , women, men, children (the entire family), we are all invited to Happy Run!

A non-competitive race organised under the global umbrella of Race for the Cure – gathering 150 annual events while bringing together more than 1.6 million participants. A fun event, one with many surprises and prizes! An event celebrating those having overcome their struggle with cancer.

In order for everyone to be able to participate, regardless of age or physical condition, Happy Run has prepared three different routes – the Runner’s Race, the Fun Run or the Short Walk of just 1 km – that you can join by running or even taking a stroll next to the cancer survivors, while showing your solidarity and support to their struggle.

Among those championing the Happy Run are the international fame artist Inna, the Olympic gold-medallist Nadia Comaneci and the football legend Gheorghe Hagi. The Happy Run community will welcome every person who would like to contribute and join our efforts in minimizing the impact these two illnesses have on women.

  • Join the race, by choosing a donation among these here!
  • You will receive a code that you need to bring with you Sunday, starting with 8 AM, in Herastrau Park, Bucharest. For instance, my code is this!

And if you won’t be able to make it to Happy Run, Fundatia Renasterea, the organising NGO, provides you with the option to directly donate to the cause.

All the funds, raised during Happy Run as well as all Fundatia Renasterea direct donations, will provide free test and screening  to Romanian women with socially vulnerable backgrounds.
And in order to no longer have mothers, grandmothers, aunts, daughters or friends that could lose the fierce battle with cancer, I invite you to support Happy Run. In its turn, this event, will be able to provide free of charge medical services to Romanian women. When detected early on, cancer can be treatable.

So, I urge you to join me running for health, for free medical support, at Bucharest’s Happy Run!
