The international project dedicated to women initiated by Gucci is celebrating International Women’s Day through new dedicated partnerships and projects. More than that, the Italian House’s initiatives have, again – after the raising of USD 4.75 million for 280 projects in 81 countries – the drive and all the data for becoming yet new consistent steps forward.
The free Chime for Change app, enlivened by the voice of movement co-founder, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, is mobilising adepts of the cause – better worldwide women’s health, education and justice – to share messages, photos and ideas linked to their common purpose by using the #CHIMEIN hashtag.
The app, featuring the immensely popular artist’s Pretty Hurts’ chorus is available in 4 languages – English, Italian, French and Spanish – and has a few intuitive steps as explained in the Chime for Change video.
Gucci guarantees USD 1 million for women’s projects this International Women’s Day. And, through its strategic partnership with Kellogg’s Special K Europe, after Kering Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Facebook, Hearst Magazines, Catapult, P&G Prestige and Twitter, hopes to get 250 000 new voices to join in Chime for Change.
