A seductive and self-assured gaze. The woman Frida Giannini envisioned for Gucci fall-winter 2014/2015 knows how and loves merging styles, shapes and textures!
Leather has been the fil rouge of the Gucci fall-winter 2014/2015 collection, while fine embroideries appeared with the same recurrence, lending delicacy to almost the majority of the shown pieces. Its pieces de resistance undoubtedly were the ’60 style dresses tailored fluidly into just above the knee A lines, especially to highlight the high boots tied, not with a ribbon, but by the emblematic horsebit of the Florentine House.
Chromatically, the classic mix of black & white was, paradoxically, the ’’splash of colour’’ of the collection, shining through from among a palette abundant in fine pastels. The optical zoom must surely fall on the python print magnificently dotting the collection’s accessories: its boots and the classic Jackie bag are expected to become bestsellers.
A truly bourgeois collection demonstrating once again that when it comes to Gucci’s sense of fashion and proportions no juxtaposition is too extravagant and no risk to big. It is simple unadulterated glamour!
Gucci fall-winter speaks the language of the bourgeoisie! It speaks of opulent furs and glamorously contrasting concepts! And if you haven’t yet seen the Milan Fashion Week show, it was live on #FashionavecPassion and you can watch it here!
