Gucci chimes for change. Education, health and justice for every girl

Gucci Chime for Change

Chime for Change is the call under which the patronage and financing of Gucci, the implication of Beyoncé Knowles, Salma Hayek and Gucci’s Creative Director, Frida Giannini, are joined by the support and advocacy of a group of supporters – Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Jada Pinkett Smith, François-Henri Pinault and Arianna Huffington – all for a cause.

And the cause is linked to the rights and challenges of women around the world, benefiting also from the attention and contribution of expertise and experience of former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and the South-African Nobel Peace Prize Winner Desmond Tutu.

Gucci has also been involved in other projects of women’s activism, including through a partnership on education with UNICEF.

Giorgio Armani and Montblanc are other high end companies having a good track record of mobilising for causes ranging from health to education.
