Fashion Tips For Every Face Shape: choose the perfect jewelries to flatter your features

Every face shape is unique. Find out how to flatter yours with the help of jewelry and clothing, by following these helpful tips:

 Faces types

Oval face

-> You own what is considered to be the perfect face shape, so don’t be afraid to experiment with oversize shoulders, plunging necklines or strapless styles.

-> Considered the most balanced face shape, the oval face tends to be highlighted by oversize earrings, such as hoop styles, chandelier earrings or teardrop models. Statement necklaces also flatter an oval face.

Square face

-> If your face is equal in width at the temples, cheekbones and jawline, sweeten your features with round necklines such as crewnecks, scoop necklines, bateau necklines, as well as with plunging necklines.

-> To balance out the aspect of a square-shaped face, go for earrings and necklaces with curved lines, which add fluidity.

Oblong face

-> If your face is long and equally wide at the temples and jawbone, with not so well-structured cheekbones, balance out your overall aspect with scoop, bateau or scalloped necklines.

-> Wide statement earrings and necklaces are perfect for you as well.

Triangle face

-> If the jawline is the most proeminent feature on your face, balance it out with feminine necklines such as a sweetheart shape, V-necks or deep scalloped necklines.

-> Go for jewelry with round or curved shapes, whether it’s necklaces or earrings.

Round face

-> A round face is flattered by an ample neckline, which optically elongates the features. Go for a deep V-neck, a sweetheart neckline, a strapless style or a plunging neckline, but stay away from round shapes, such as crewnecks or bateau necklines, which accentuate the roundness of your face.

-> Try long and angular earrings, such as thin chandelier earrings, to create a balance with the roundness of your face. Long pendant necklaces also work well with your features.

Heart-shaped face

-> If the cheekbones are the most proeminent feature on your face, while your chin is the weak link, balance the overall aspect out with the help of detailing situated in the vicinity of your chin. Turtlenecks or any kind of high neckline, as well as tops which feature bows that tie around your neck or at the base of it, work perfectly. Also, go for round necklines, such as crewnecks, bateau or sweetheart necklines.

-> In terms of accessories, go for scarves tied at the base of your neck or long earrings that widen at the level of your chin. Also, layered necklaces work well to flatter your face shape, attracting attention towards its lower part.
