Extravagant Details In The Lanvin F/W 2013 Collection At Paris Fashion Week

For the Fall/Winter 2013 Lanvin collection, Alber Elbaz took a series of classic silhouettes with elegant allure – dresses with ample A-line skirts, straight-cut coats and short hourglass-shaped dresses – and transformed them into glamor versions, with the help of extravagant details.

Delicate organza flowers, crystal butterfly brooches, romantic frills, seductive lace embroidery and necklaces with one-word messages – ”Help”, ”Hot”, ”Love” or ”Cool”, adorned almost every look that came out onto the Lanvin runway.

A series of outerwear pieces – leather trenches, structured vests and fur-embellished overcoats, provided an interlude to the ultra-feminine silhouettes, before the show migrated back to a glamorous allure, with dresses in somptuous silk, adorned with floral prints or multicoloured crystal appliqués and seductive drapings.
