A Sophisticated Expression Of Multiculturalism In Vivienne Westwood’s Show At PFW

Featuring floral embroidery inspired by the traditional clothes of the Netherlands, multicoloured pieces layered in a gypsy style, asymmetrical dresses reminiscent of native American clothing, silhouettes inspired by Peruvian ponchos and rich embroidery with a Moroccan echo, the Vivienne Westwood Fall/Winter 2013 show merged the beauty of the four corners of the world into a super-stylish expression of multiculturalism.

The second part of the collection, on the other hand, focused on very feminine looks – floor-sweeping silk dresses with diaphanous silhouettes, or short ones, embellished with sparkling sequins in a marvellously glamorous fantasy.
