Ermanno Scervino F/W 2013: Masculine Details Translated Into Feminine Silhouettes

Hourglass-shaped coats in grey flannel, a fabric with a masculine connotation, and men’s vests reinvented into feminine looks, in the form of dresses or tops worn over jackets-turned-coats with collars and sleeves beaded with sparkling crystals, all of this accessorised with Russian-inspired headgear, opened the Ermanno Scervino Fall/Winter show, on a note of relaxed elegance.

The runway then filled with a parade of short pleated skirts and cashmere tops with fur inserts on the sleeves, dresses with subtle Swarovski crystal appliqués, or with delicate lace embroidery, as well as somptuous fur coats. The show ended on a seductive and ultra-feminine note, with floor-sweeping gowns with fluid lines, in royal velvet or diaphanous silk, with romantic frills and suave drapings.
