Dita Von Teese stars her day with a parsley and spinach smoothie

Dita Von Teese has recently turned 40, but this is not a reason for her to feel sad. In an interview for Closer magazine, she said she feels better at this age, than when she was in her 20’s.

The star, who admitted going through rough times in her youth, taking drugs, partying too much and eating junk food, looks and feels great. Dita says she maintains her tiny waist by healthy eating, avoiding bread, and rarely drinking.

 

She starts every day by drinking a vegetable smoothie made from parsley, coriander and spinach, and also exercises daily, no matter if it’s Pilates, ballet, or horse riding. Von Teese also believes that wearing a corset since she was 18 helped her keep her waist small.

When it comes to cravings, Dita says she has some foods that she can’t always resist. Indian food, crunchy sweets and crisps are on her dangerous list.
