Today Milan Fashion Week started, the most glamorous fashion week in the world and no matter how much I try to be objective, I can’t help but admitting that it is my favourite.
I don’t have the slightest doubt that I’ll see collections nothing short of SENSATIONAL, since Italian fashion is famous for its styling as well as annual sales opulence.
And for having prepared a few special outfits to suit the Italian fashion scene, I could only choose make up fitting for the occasion.
I chose Dior, to whose products I’ve been faithful for years, as I am a lover of haute beauté, and much more than that, J’Adore Dior!
The legendary French house comes along Fashion Avec Passion at Milan Fashion Week, being our official partner!
So, I’ve offered an invitation to MFW to my favourite maquillage products Dior Beauty & Fragrance, as well as to the iconic Miss Dior, planning to be as one throughout Milan Fashion Week. We’ll go to the most spectacular fashion shows (Gucci, Blumarine, Roberto Cavalli, Francesco Scognamiglio, Blue Girl, Pucci, Just Cavalli, Hogan, Salvatore Ferragamo, Ermanno Scervino, Bottega Veneta, Gianfranco Ferre and many others), to the most impressive cocktail parties (Vogue’s Fashion Night Out, Pinko Cocktail, Roberto Cavalli’s book lauch, Lardini Party, Vogue X 10 Corso Como, Alberto Moretti and so on…) and we’ll meet the most acclaimed designers of the hour, as well as movie stars and artists.
And if in terms of fashion, the event is called Milan Fashion Week, as far as beauty goes, I think I’ll call it Dior Beauty Week.
A legendary beauty week, as this year we are celebrating 60 years since Christian Dior imagined how to ’’dress women’s smiles’’. Over the decades more than 1 500 different shades have been created. And we, I, always go back to the essential Dior Rouge, the most passional colour I have ever seen!
And I am so enthusiastic about my impeccable make-up, brilliant all the way to the tip of my fingernails. Because Red Royalty and Gris Montaigne, the master’s favourite polish finishes happen to also be my favourite. And with reference from the ultimate stylist, I can’t possibly imagine for a second I won’t be following etiquette to the world’s biggest runway shows!
And when it is all topped with a drop of Miss Dior, the result can only be perfection, don’t you think?
In 1947, many couture years ago, Christian Dior wanted to create Miss Dior ’’to see popping out of the bottle each and every one’’ of his dresses. In a way, it is just what I am going to experience at Milan Fashion Week/ Dior Beauty Week.
I invite you to follow closely the fantasy of Milan Fashion Week brushed up with Dior make up, by following on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @JaninaNectara @FashionAvecPassion @Dior, as well as the hashtags #JaninaNectara #FashionAvecPassion #dior #MFW.
