Delicious perfumed gloves, from L’Artisan Parfumeur

Did you know that in the 17th century  perfumes were not sealed in flacons, like nowadays? Actually, when perfumery begin to develop, fragrances were soaked in gloves, so women would wear them and smell nice.

These days, L’Artisan Parfumeur had the brilliant idea to bring back the tradition, and created the limited-edition Mûre et Musc Extrême scented gloves. This is part of an updated version of the house’s signature eau de parfum, created in 1993, Mûre et Musc Extrême.

The fragrance is a delicious mixture of blackberry and blackcurrant, and the gloves are made in the south of France, by Causse. Due to the preciousness of this perfumed accessory, there will only be available 100 pairs of gloves, beginning with October, at L’Artisan Parfumeur boutiques.

The Mûre et Musc Extrême scented gloves are priced €320.
