If there’s something that irritates me visually when it comes to fashion, it’s the people who dress lacking even the slightest bit of creativity, blindingly copying from head to toe various outfits featured in lookbooks. Uniqueness is something that I’ve always highly appreciated in people, whether it comes down to character, ideas or clothing style. More than once, it has happened to me to attempt to personalise a piece of clothing or an accessory, sadly limited by the fact that I do not own a design atelier.
Imagine, thus, my enthusiasm, when I found out that the Fendi Baguette, one of my favourite bags in the whole world, an an iconic style, deeply etched in the history of fashion, is the first purse to come with a painter’s kit, making it entirely customisable. I can already feel a giant wave of ideas taking over my brain!
The temptation is irresistible. Let your fantasy flood your consciousness, run freely through your brain, and explode into a torrent of lines, shapes and colours that your fingers transpose onto the most stylish canvas.
Need a little inspiration to stimulate your creativity? Check out the works of a set of international artists, such as Tom Sachs, Richard Prince, Sylvie Fleury or Nina Pandolfo, who have use the fabulous Fendi Baguette as a white canvas to express the wildest figments of their imagination.
