Burst of dots in the Louis Vuitton collection

If you haven’t had the opportunity to see any exhibition of the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, you still have time to catch up. Marc Jacobs decided to cooperate with her for a collection that will be in worldwide stores on July 10. The Japanese artist is known for her obsession for dots, which she uses to decorate her sculptures and interiors.

This explains the fact that the new Louis Vuitton collection will have spots on each item created, from trenches and dresses, to shoes, pajamas and jewelry. Even the latest perfume launched by the designer is named Dot, and this is probably not just a coincidence.

The last time Jacobs has worked with an artist for a LV collection was in 2003, with Takashi Murakami.
