Bohemian Meets Gypsy In The BCBG Max Azria F/W 2013 Collection

The BCBG Max Azria Fall/Winter 2013/14 collection was, according to the designers, inspired by Turkish mosques.

The gypsy accents in the form of floral prints, the prints reminiscent of traditional motifs found on the walls of mosques, the layering of fabrics and textures – leather, fur, silk, doubled by carefully handcrafted details – intricate embroidery and laser-cut patterns, all blended together beautifully to create an exotic collection, doubled by a slightly bohemian air.

Oversize biker jackets, fur-trimmed hoods, python boots, leather pants worn under some of the outfits and the permanent presence of beanie hats gave the entire line-up an injection of freshness, perfectly blending the exotic atmosphere with a more casual, urban air.
